Did you know that the large clock tower in London isn’t really called Big Ben? It was named the Elizabeth Tower by Parliament in hono(u)r of Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee celebration. Before that it was simply officially known as the Clock Tower. 

Big Ben is actually the name of the large bell that chimes the hour! Here’s a video of that happening at 9 o’clock 🙂
